Olá queridos!

Sabe quando você cansa de uma coisa e quer algo diferente, que seja único? Todo mundo tem dessas coisas! E nada melhor que usar a velha e boa customização para deixar tudo novo!

Para ser sincera, eu não tinha cansado da cadeira, é que fiz uma parceria com meu pai, ele adora catar tudo em feirinhas de trecos na rua e eu me aproveito e cato dele todas as quinquilharias que acho interessante. Até que um dia ele comprou essa cadeira pra mim, mas tadinho, ele reformou correndo e a tinta acabou ficando um pouco marcada.

Então tive a ideia de fazer uma decoupage na parte de metal que era branca.

Usei em torno de 8 folhas de guardanapo estampado com um estilo português incrível, cola para decoupage (bastante!) e verniz geral brilhante.

É claro que tem cuidados óbvios como não jogar água na cadeira e nem passar produtos, não tenho certeza do que iria acontecer mas prefiro não arriscar. Só limpo com um paninho úmido quase seco.

Depois que fiz essa cadeira senti a enorme vontade de estampar tudo que é objeto pela casa! Virou objetivo para vida! 😀

Hi Sweeties!

Sometimes in life you get tired of your stuff and want something different, unique. Everybody feels that way sometimes! And nothing better than doing some customization to make it all new again!

To be honest, I wasn’t tired of this chair. I have done a partnership with my dad, he loves to buy old vintage things on the street and I take the opportunity to take from him all the cool objects I find interesting. Until one day he bought this chair for me, but poor thing, he reformed it and the paint ended up running a bit marked.

So I had the idea to make a decoupage in the metal part. I used around 8 decoupage napkins with an incredible Portuguese style, mod podge (a lot!) and varnish.

Of course there has to be some obvious precautions, such as not throwing water on the chair, not spraying products on it. I’m not sure what would happen but I’d rather not risk it. I only clean it with a damp, almost dry, washcloth.

After I made this chair I felt the urge to print everything in my house! It turned a goal for life! 😀
